Oprah Winfrey is building several schools in Africa & has
had homes built in New Orleans for the Katrina victims.
She has donated millions of her own money for charity,
not for the killing of other human beings.

Many of Hollywood is also helping, there are too many to
list here, but for instance, Sean Penn, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt,
George Clooney, Cher, Bono, just for starts.

The other day, I was in a large grocery store. If you shop,
you know how prices have gone thru the roof. There wasn't
one cashier - you had to check yourself out.
I mean really, is paying a cashier minimum wage too much
to ask? I know the managers get a couple of thousand a
month in bonuses. And all I see them do, is walk around,
buy snacks & hang out at the service desk.
American business needs to take a hard look at its self.

When I taught business courses in college, the FIRST thing I told students is, PROFIT IS NOT A DIRTY WORD. It allows a business to stay in business and create jobs. Obscenely Large profits do seem to question that. Of course, IF you are a share holder and are getting your cut of those profits, you may think differently. Then you spend and create more jobs. No profit, no jobs.

If the profits can be considered exploitation of the customer, than yes that is un-American. A fair profit for a fair product/service is the American way.

I think large profits are inhuman and unethical. money was created as tool for exchange of products and service, if you are going to sale more and purchase less or vice-versa, you are violating the basic concept of equal exchange of product or service. large profits are generated only by purchasing others products and services at lower price and selling own products or services at higher price. this is very unethical.

In a libs point of view, money is evil. That is totally wrong. LACK of money is the root of all evil.

Yes if you own a corp and make a ton of money you are considered the devil in the lefts eyes, that is i unless you are one of their leaders. In that case you can make all you want, fly around is fuel guzzling private jets and complain about pollution at the same time, like Al Gore.
