I patched my gunite pool with putty, but the spots look bad because the patch color doesn't match the surface color. The pool is speckled blue while the patch is off white. Is there anything I can do?

Nothing that is cost effective, I'm afraid. That two part epoxy you used only comes in that colour. You COULD drain the pool, prep the area and paint with an epoxy pool paint (100 bucks/ gallon it only comes in a gallon and is mixed/used once only) and you WON'T find it in a paint shop. You'll need to hit a pool shop. It'll be close, but won't match perfectly. There's a catch though. That epoxy repair will be cracking and popping off in a year or two. They always do. You'll have to repeat the process and I think you've already decided it's an expensive thing to do. If appearances are extremely important to you and money isn't, refinnishing the pool is the only sure fire way. I imagine this spot you patched is what's called spalding, the size of a silver dollar and usually located on the steps. It's common in an older (5 years) pool, if this is in an environment that you need to winterize the pool. It's caused by the finnish coat drying out and spider webbing when the pool level has been dropped. Water gets in there and pops off pieces.

Go to a paint store and explain the problem you have. Get some color samples and take them home to math up the colors of the pool. get this paint that matches closest and paint by hand trying to match the pattern the best you can
