How much are taxi prices generally in Central Jersey? Any good websites would be nice as well.?

I don't feel like calling up taxi companies right now... if the prices are obscene I'd rather not bother. Are the prices always 'per mile' or is it 'per minute plus per mile', and do they charge per person? I never take taxis so I have no clue.

It goes by the mile. # passengers do not matter.
