My computers hard drive has two lights. One of them is always on when you turn ont the computer and the other just started turning on. I 'm really worried because my sister told me that what happened to her computer before it got messed up.

Well I think you are talking about the computer case and not the hard drive.
The hard drive is a device usually inside a computer where your data and operating system are stored.
Most of them if they have only 2 lights one is for power to indicate that power is on, the other is for hard drive activity. The hard drive light should flash with activity on the hard drive. If it seems on solid it is usually an indicator that the hard drive is very busy. Another light found on the front occasionally would be a sleep light if your computer is in sleep mode.
None of these lights being on should hurt your computer. If, however your activity is on too frequently it could mean that you should upgrade the memory in your computer to boost your speed a bit.

Well there should indeed be 2 lights on your workstation. 1 for power and 1 for the hard drive.
Normally the power light always stays on and the hard drive light will blink constantly.
It is VERY VERY difficult to diagnose a PC issue just by looking at the lights. I would run a scan disk, virus scan, spyware scan, just to make sure everything is ok. If there is nothing wrong then dont worry about it.

not to worry the light that is always on is the power light the other light is the hard drive that will cone on & off when your doin something on the pc like scanning for virus or trojans or spyware or running a pc game that light will pop on and off there is nothing to worry about at all if your pc is slowing down like web access page then you need to run a full system check for spyware to keep your system in good health try this

these lights are just led's which gives the indication that ur hard disk is under use that is u'r system is running
I think u find 2 lights like one in red and the other is green. Green is for the hard disk n the red shows the data transfer

could that be your turbo light that you inadvertantly enabled?
call tech support for your computer and ask them.
