My boyfriend and I have been together for like almost two years. Recently, we've been to several altercations. It's due to the conflicting obligations. He's working to support his family while I have to sacrifice my personal needs and my family in order to help him. I came to realiase just lately that I'm a moron for allowing him to manipulate me. I've sacrified so much in this shitty relationship to the point of compromising my reputation and my family.

Right now, I would like to put an end to everything and try my best to start anew. I want to leave him after October. There are however things that make me doubt my decision. I want to make sure that I'm doing the right decision. I want to make sure that I really don't love him anymore. Pls help me clear my hesitations with your comments, questions and suggestions.

Thank you and I look forward to your reply.

it sounds like you have already made up your mind and that you know what you need to do, you just need to stand firm on your decision.

I think your first paragraph answered your own question. IMO, it's beside the point whether or not you "love" him anymore, as no one even knows what "love" really is. The question to ask is, do you want to continue on with the relationship as it is now, and to keep on making the sacrifices without getting much in return. If the answer is no, then prepare to leave, learn your lesson, and try again with someone else.

It comes down to do you want to continue the relationship or not. If you love him and want to stay but don't like the circumstances you need to tell him. If he doesn't care or talking about it doesn't change the situation then you need to decide if you love him enough to continue to be miserable or if you want to find happiness.

I think you should talk to him and tell him that you also have to care about yourself and your family.
Leaving him for that will not be a good idea if you love him because after seperation for the rest of your life you might grieve over your decision.

Just talk to him and see what happens.

"I have sacrificed so much", "sh*tty relationship"....and you
have compromised yourself...I suspect the answer will be clear
to you if you simply listen to what you are saying and they are not
just empty words..... good luck..
