Helium is usually found on its own. It's a Noble Gas (an octet) and therefore does not really react with other elements.. Good Luck.

Helium is normally found on Earth as a result of beta radioactive decay. It is only found freshly made, because it is so much lighter than air that released helium floats off into space. But beta particles from decaying heavy atoms can easily catch electrons and they become helium atoms.

Helium is the least reactive substance in the universe. It will always be found free... (infact i think that close to every where in the universe it will also always be found as a gass)

Helium is from alpha radiation, not beta radiation. Beta particles are electrons, alpha particles are helium nuclei.

its found in pairs with itself more or less only, as it is a noble gas it doesnt need to combine with anything else, hope this helps
