My husband got us a laptop that does not have a cd rom in it and I can't get the program I need downloaded to our computer for our camera. Is there any other way to get the pictures off of my camera on to our computer?

If your camera has a card that you can put into the computer or if you can connect it to the computer via USB, your computer will detect it, then just go to my computer - look for your camera, then just cut and paste. Also, depending on what type of camera it is, look for the program that was on your camera online. You may be able to download it.

Using the data Cable.. pop the camera driver cd in the comp install the software.. connect the camera to the PC and download the files..

If the pictures are saved to an SD card or some other sort of card buy a USB card reader.. or if the camera is a USB cable device just plug it in and Windows XP will automatically install drivers for it

Well, the CD makes it able so your cable can connect and transfer photo's. I'd recommend going to Cannon website and seeing if they have the online driver download, which takes the place for the CD. If they don't have that, then you're pretty much screwed without the drivers.

do u have a diginal camera if u do then use a cord and plg it in the back of the comp
