"sex pistols" is the name of a band, but I don't want to provoke some negative reactions b/c of the word "sex". is it school appropriate? thank you.

Considering the rash of violence in schools lately, I'd be more concerned with the word pistols. Some of us know about the Sex Pistols and the late Johnny Rotten, but since many teenagers today have no clue, I wouldn't risk it.

its going to depend on your school...the Sex Pistols is a very popular established band....it should be no differnt than wearing a pantera shirt...BTW johnny rotton(john lydon) is not dead
