I like it on the really rare night when thin clouds are in the sky, the moon is full, and you get to see the moon surrounded in *rainbows* if you look closely enough (got to see one, of all things, right before Y2K came--talk about getting me looking forward to that year!). :)
But honestly....I think the moon needs change. :)
I'd think I'd like it better if it *wasn't* this big, sterile pearl in the sky, just a bauble, nothing more....
I'd think I'd like it better *terraformed* into a place where people can live. And no, it isn't entirely impossible....carbonate rocks have been found *in abundance* on the moon's surface, and it is possible with a bit of work to chemically break them down into water and breathable oxygen.....
Only problem would be shrink-wrapping it. The moon, because its gravity isn't strong enough to hold an atmosphere by itself, and rather than just build lotsa domes....yeah, we shrink-wrap the puppy, say at two kilometers (a bit over a mile) out to hold the "air" in, and still let in the sunlight. :D
Ahh, but what am I saying, it *can't be* that simple, right? There's radiation and all that crap, and getting the temperatures evened out because the moon is tidal locked (one side always faces the sun, the other never does).
But still....if *any* place in our solar system is "easy" to terraform into someplace *livable* within one human lifetime....our own moon would be it. :D
Just saying....have a good one!

What a romantic question. All of us really love to see moon in dark nights, particularly when it is round and big. How nice if it is dark, a bank of river and full moon, and your friend sitting on sand.
