If you have fairly regular periods, the best thing OTC is Advil or Aleve (any Ibuprofen or Naproxen). But the trick is to take it before you have the cramps. They work by inhibiting prostaglandin production, and increased prostaglandins seem to be a factor in menstral pain. Tylenol does not have any antiprostin effect, although it does have analgesia and antipyretic (dec. fever). If your symptoms worsen or aren't relieved, you should consult with your doctor for other things not OTC

I have found that combining the treatment of a heat pack, eating something (sometimes hunger can cause worse cramps), and taking ibuprofen really helps! Sometimes putting light pressure on the area with the heat pack helps, also walking around with the heat pack can get things moving better. Remember to drink a lot of water and make sure you don't get constipated.
Hope this helps!

Fellatio is the best way of getting rid of cramps. The unigue use of muscles in your hands, and mouth along with a shot of protein are a sure fire way to treat your symptoms.

I know most people would say take ibuprofen or something like that. But I say just lay down and relax. Placing a warm towel or compress on your misection may help as well. If it's unbearable and you seem to go through it every month, I say see your doctor.

Exercise works really well for me, in addition to taking some mild painkillers. Make sure you drink plenty of water and gets lots of calcium, too, so your body doesn't get depleted during your cycle.

A heating pad works miracles, take PMS pills (I recommend Advil-works best for me) and exercise. Also just relax and don't get to worked up because then it just gets worse.

THE BEST WAY I HAVE LEARNED BECAUSE I EXPERIENCE EXTREMELY BAD CRAMPS SINCE I STRATED WHEN I WAS YOUNG, WITHOUT MEDICATION IS YOUR DIET. CUT OUT RED MEATS, FRIED AND GREASY FOODS AND NO CAFFINE. A FEW DAYS BEFORE YOUR CYCLE AND DURING AND YOU WILL NOTICE A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. TRY IT AT LET ME KNOW HOW IT WORKS.
