The Abu Ghraib photos tell the story of the BushRight!

Given the amount of scandal going on with the Republicans it's amazing that they use the "conservatives are perfect liberals are always wrong" argument to cover it up?

Didnt they get the memo that the only people left who they have fooled is themselves?

And when you read the link, you'll see that the conservative christian apologists in this country live by the motto "Do as I say,not as I do".

Democrats often DO get some play, but now it seems like the Republicans are the horniest(and most two-faced) of all!

To paraphrase Buffman316,a "Christian" who has apparently never read his bible,I qoute him to all member of the (G)ross (O)bscene (P)erverts party:Go have fun in the Burger King Bathroom.

I just wish more right-wingers could grow up and admit this double moral standard of theirs is a lie. Most Americans have by now,why can't they?

Conservatives are perfect, liberals are all wrong -- I think this belief is accepted by people who are way into their fundamentalist religions. The other party is just a bunch of immoral heretics and therefore always wrong. These right wing evangelicals have the true religion, their one God is different from and better than the God of any other monotheistic religion.

Why do they believe all the spin? As literal readers of the Bible, they have to go through all kinds of mental contortions to keep their beliefs straight. Nothing is logic, it's all belief. Logic and reason and facts have little value-- they are part of the scientific world view that these primitive thinkers reject.

This flock of base beings will always follow their "conservative" Republican masters. When they are told 12 different, inconsistent reasons why the U.S. is at war in Iraq or when they are given incredible explanations for the graphic Abu Ghraib tortures, It's as if their ministers are just giving them a different slant on a Bible story. Nothing strains their credulity.

What a question! Joking, if you want to make a statement (an incorrect one at that), join a forum numb nuts, not a Q&A post.
What in the world does Abu Ghraib have to do with the right? Do you know for a fact that the troops that did the "hassing" there were right wingers? I highly doubt it given the inmaturity of those select few I would assume the are lefty's.

There are much much more cases from the left than the right, its just the left has no power so you dont hear about it as much in the media.

I think it goes both ways, honestly..The party "out of office" nowadays is so vengeful. It was awful the way Clinton's character was destroyed, and the holier than thous were out in mass. Now it's the democrats saying the Republicans can do no right.
Somewhere in the middle is probably the closest to the best. I think we should demonstrate. I think we should voice our opinions, but I also think at the end of the day we should stand together as Americans, and not to attack the other half of the country because of political views.
We are becoming a very mean group of people; both sides. I hope the next President will have better luck, but I doubt it. The HATE is growing and growing and may destroy us as a nation.

All that the whole thing with Foley proves is that NO politician is exempt from hypocrisy. There's bad on both sides of the spectrum, and every place in between.
PEOPLE are corrupt. It has nothing to do with a person's political views. There are good conservative Republicans, and there are good liberal Democrats, as well as bad in both.
It is WRONG and JUDGEMENTAL to lump all of any group together.
Why are you being as judgemental as many liberal Democrats accuse the conservative Republicans of being?
I hate it when conservative Republicans demonstrate discrimination as well, by the way.

And before you start trying to call me a "neocon" or a typical "right-wing" Republican, I'm non-affiliated and moderate.

You are very "far far" outside of your mind. You are the lousiest "cut and paste" liberal on here. You cut and paste quotes and then twist them around to fit whatever lousy point you are trying to make.

How do you know how much I read my Bible?
Wasn't my quote "go have fun in a burger king bathroom" an answer to one of your disgusting questions in the past?
You are trying to figure out who is hornier, democrats or republicans?
Get a life man, If I was a liberal, which thank God I am not, I would be ashamed to have you on my side.
We welcome you over here because I see you have potential, you just need to get your facts straight, quit asking so many ridiculous questions and use your brain for what God intended.

God Bless and see you the next time!

AMEN. If more people would read the bible, they would see the glaring similarity between what God warns us NOT to be and some of the people who are supposed to be leading our country. I've been saying it for years- Republican politicians who pretend to uphold Christian-based values are just plain lying. Look at the deeds, not the words. I am sick of hypocrites who make a mockery of what Christ stands for. If they can't use true values to run this country with integrity and honesty, I don't want to hear about what religion they claim to be. Just do it right, or get out. If any of us showed that much dishonesty and lack of respect in our jobs, we would be fired.

Your question implies that there is a political position that can teach morality. There isn't. You want moral teachings go to one of those buildings with a "t" on top of it.
A little food for thought though, when trouble strikes for GWB he finds a scapegoat. In Saddam's trial that man told the court he was the one in charge and no one should have to answer for the actions of the Iraqi government except him.

We ARE the party with morals and a conscience.
We are consistent on the behaviors we deem inappropriate.
We do not condone or embrace behavior that is at odds with our beliefs the way liberals do.

There are good and bad people in every religion or political party. It can't be helped. The question is - HOW DOES EACH PARTY TREAT IT'S SCREW-UPS?
LIBS - treated like heros.
Conservatives - condemn the inappropriate actions.

Why do you think we are supposed to learn morals from the government? That is absurd. As long as I am not hurting anyone else, I feel comfortable doing whatever I want.

MORAL VALUES = Using your money and clout and most of the television networks (owned by you) to keep your dirt from getting reported, but to fund extensive research into your opponents' dirt, thus making yourself appear to hold the moral high ground.
The first modern MORAL VALUES were written down by Machiavelli.
