What type of music do you like and why? As a teenager, I love everything about music, particularly the ability to express myself by both performing and listening. Basically, I just want to know your opinion about music, why you have it, what part of the music you like the best, who your favorite artists/bands are, and (if you don't mind) your age group.

most song's tell a story you can relate to in some day or another.......when i i'm down i put on r.e.m everybody hurt's when i'm happy maybe a song by diana degarmo,reaching for heaven. i love all music.

Music is a very powerful expression tool. For me it is listening to a song with heavy power chord riffs and awesome lead action with lots of bends. The string bending on a guitar really lets me feel and show emotion. I love it. My age group is 30-40.

Just close your eyes, slip away to a safe place, and get lost in it. That is the best thing about music. Trouble is, I never want to come back.
Frank Sinatra, Led Zeppelin, John Mayer, just to name a few. I am 28 years old.

Music is one of the only things besides food that truly make people feel good,and it's comforting.I love 80's music and rock the most.But all music is good.
