Set up tables in the gym for all the used items. Get volunteers to sell the items. (Grade6 students).
Have tables in the hall for the baked goods. (get volunteers for to stand and sell the baked goods as well).

If you want a Halloween theme. You could make a spooky walk through in the gym and charge the students $2. admission to walk through.
You could also have a pumpkin carving contest and charge $1. per student that enters. Get donations for the prize (IE: pass to the corn maze ).
or
Have a pizza movie night; rent a movie and sell pizza and a drink. During the movie you could sell popcorn and gummy candy or TCBY (Frozen Yogurt).

How about a teacher dunking booth? Our elementary had a Kiss the gator contest. Whichever teacher had the most money collected in a jar had to kiss an allagator....which was the school mascot. What is your schools mascot? Good luck. You may be able to find more ideas online.
