He spent last year with the charlotte checkers of the East Coast Hockey League... 2 levels below the NHL.
He does not seem to be on the checkers roster this year...a player whose gone from The NHL to the ECHL by the age of 28 would generally think about calling it a career..A slow lumbering winger like Worrell would have a hard time under the NHL's new rules.

Currently, he plays for the minor league Charlotte Checkers (ECHL).
In December 2004, he was pulled over by police in Pompano Beach, Florida because of expired tags. Worrell continued to identify himself to the officer as Andreas Lilja, a former teammate. He was charged with driving with a suspended license and resisting arrest without violence, both misdemeanors.

Police say Colorado Avalanche forward Peter Worrell identified himself as his friend and former teammate, Andreas Lilja, when he was arrested for a traffic violation last month in Florida.

Peter Worrell never really played hockey anyway. Big freaking goon. Couldn't skate, terrible stick handler, and quite frankly couldn't fight very well either. Hockey is better off without idiots like him!
