I have a B.A. in philosophy and I like the thinking involved. It gives a better perspective on a lot of other subjects. I enjoy more for a personal pursuit. My other B.A. is criminal justice with emphasis on investigation and is the reason I went to college. I believe the philosophy helps me with that also.

I did consider becoming a philosopher, and then decided to go for it. Now I'm an ethicist and I love what I do.

I seek the truth in all matters that I deal with. I prefer to avoid matter irrelevant to the issues not under discussion, and prefer to avoid circular- or unfair argumentation; unfortunately, some people are so brain dead or brainwashed with slogans and propaganda-related habits that it is very difficult to discuss matters of interests with them... they do not know how to discuss matters in an organized, well-thought out, methodical and systematic manner, using facts and reasons. They prefer to cloud the issues; I prefer to clarify.
I can only try.

Anyone can be a philosopher. I believe I am, but this is not what I do to earn my living.

I love philosophy. I particularly enjoyed Logic's Philosophy in college. It is great if you could make a living at it.

Nope. I don't want to get that involved with philosophy. I like it but don't love it.
