Lost in Translation is good (in my opinion), some found it to be a bit slow. I admit it's not for everyone. It's more beautiful than plot-driven.
Matchstick Men is clever and Nic Cage turns in an amazing performance. Sam Rockwell is always awesome. Definitely watch!
Cold Mountain is a historical romance. Though it is a good historical piece. I don't know, it's a toss up. Some guys like it.

"The Matrix Reloaded!" And don't listen to what a bunch of people have said about the sequels. The Matrix trilogy is meant to be taken as a whole yet they explore different subjects. I think they're all great!
