Actually, if you think you can take the possible pressures, and possibly those around you ostracising you, i would think you should.

All the best.

Isn't it dark in there?
Do you enjoy sharing space with skeletons and monsters?

No, darling, you SHOULD come out as quickly as possible. It's can't be any good for you in there. Heck, you might suffocate amongst all the clothes.
Come on out and join the party!
October 11th is soon approaching!

National Coming Out Day!!!

The date was chosen to commemorate the first March on Washington for GLBT Rights back in 1987. This March was organized just after the 1986 ruling on the Bowers v. Hardwick, a Georgia sodomy case that started when Police entered the bedroom of Michael Hardwick to serve a court summons.

Granted, and with much relief, the 2003 Lawrence v. Texas Ruling overturned ALL Sodomy laws nationwide, although Virginia refuses to acknowledge that ruling an retains their commonwealth sodomy laws.

well, for one, you've just told me, congratulations on your first step.

anyways. i think being open is very important, when you finally do come out, you will feel great about yourself, but makesure it is the right time. if you come out too soon, then things might become awkward, but if you wait too long, you'll feel bad for yourself. wait the the right time, you'll know when it is.

i also think you should wait to tell your parents (unless that opart is rreeeaaaaallllyyyy important to you) because they are usually the people that it will have the most affect on. tell you friends, maybe an aunt or cousin who you trust. get used to the idea of being open before you are open with them

once your out, have fun with it!! you came out because you want to be free, now you are, it's a great feeling.

Yes. It's more commen now then in the 80's. Also loving someone the only way u can is not a sin which is what many people may answer this question with. Good luck.
Staying hidden might cause more pain. Be who u are.

If you're happy tellng us, then there's no reason to not tell others, but it is your descision of course.

It also depends who you want to tell and why, as I don't know any of the circumstances, I can't make any recmmendations, but I seriously doubt there is any reason not to. If you're only telling a friend (or your parents), they shouldn't care and will hopefully treat you exactly the same as before.

This depends on how important it is to you. I am not gay, but being myself is essential to me regardless of what people think.

If you do, be ready for job discrimination, family tension and loss of friends. These are common things that happen when someone chooses to come out.

Be strong, and follow your heart to wherever it leads. Anyone who won't walk with you didn't deserve the honor.

To what purpose? Will this add to your income? Will this make you more popular with your partners? Why is this so heavy on your mind...your sexuality is no one's business but you and your sex partner's. Why scream it from the house top unless you think that by coming out you will further Gay causes...if so, come out. If not , your choice, not ours.

Closets are for clothes, not people. If you feel like you want to come out, do so, but be prepared for both positive-and negative reactions.
