I have a wonderful old kitchen table that is a laminate "fake wood" pattern formica from about 50 years ago. It has gotten dull and scratched from being washed over the years. I'd like it to shine again, like new, but still be safe to put food on. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Try buffing it with a car buffer and bees wax. Get a cotton bonnet for the buffer, spread bees wax on the counter and buff, buff, buff.

You should try counter top magic .. but you should just get it re done... Wilsonart has really great patterns, but you can also try pionite. And you can always go with granite.. the prices have dropped alot, they compare nowa days with laminate....
