I don't understand why anyone would fear using a computer, because there's no way a computer can hurt someone and if someone does make a mistake, it's usually fixable. So why would anyone still be hesitant to use one? Personally, I think it's a great way to get information, create stuff, play games, and chat with people from all around the world(as well as learn about other cultures)!

NRen, not really if you keep your anti-virus and anti-spyware software up to date and you use a decent FIREWALL as well as not falling for 'phishing' scams!

Oh, sure, a computer can't hurt you. It only has the potential to spread your personal information to every corner of the internet, allowing any creep to come after you.

To some people a computer is intimidating to them. It takes a while to learn how to use it & take care of it. It is an expensive piece of machinery that some people are just too afraid of messing up.
