Bruce Willis all the way. While I am a big fan of Eastwood he's a little too 'Hollywood', a tall guy with a gruff voice and a penchant for smoking cigars and growing facial hair.
Bruce Willis is just Mr Normal but he can pull off the action-hero look with no difficulty. How many balding white guys look so cool running around barefoot in a grubby white vest?!
PS, I also think Willis is the better actor- he is very underestimated.

Well not sure it classes as a hardman really,but Antonio Banderas in Desperado! Loved it!
Although between Bruce and Clint... Bruce without a doubt. Not a big fan of ponchos
