Take a look at this:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/thenewswire/archive/ap/foxfoley.jpg
And don't insult my intelligence by claiming it was an "honest mistake."
Fox knows darn well that many people watch these news channels with the sound off and that many casual viewers will see this and assume Foley really is a Democrat.

Smart Kat: You're not very smart and you didn't read my question. By your own admission, it's all over the news that Foley is a Republican. Yet they still made this mistake. Why? Because they know that some people will see it with the sound off -- think of all the airports, bars, restaurants, health clubs, etc. that show Fox News and CNN with the sound off because they still have the little "news crawl" at the bottom that people can read. People who were not paying attention saw this and thought he was a Democrat. And all Fox has to say is it's was a "simple mistake." That's their game, and you should be embarrased to be one of the idiots who constantly falls for their baloney.

Fox is always pulling crap like that.
From what I've seen, most people who still watch Fox News only do so:
a.) to make fun of Bill O'Reily and is facade of a "No-Spin Zone"
b.) to mock how conservative the select "liberal" hosts are
c.) because they are ignorant.

I've watched quite a bit of both CNN & FOX. If that image isn't doctored, it is a brief typo. I'm sure the newscaster was verbally refering to him as a republican at the same time & it was immediately corrected, because all I've seen on Fox was references to REPUBLICAN Foley.
And I have heard MANY, if not ALL of the commentors on Fox, not only condemning Foley, but also wanting an investigation in to who knew what & when. One conservative commentator last night said "If Hastert didn't know - he should have!"
Part of the confusion (again, IF the image is accurate) is that there is a democrat Tom Foley. IF someone made that kind of mistake, I sort of hope they'd get fired for it.

That picture is crazy. They see a sex scandal and just assume it's gotta be a democrat! ha.
No, I don't watch Fox News. I never really noticed news was biased until I watched Fox News. Everyone says all the other channels are liberal, so I guess it's good that the conservatives have their own channel then? I'm not sure. I don't watch Fox News at all, even if they are just covering the story of the day, I will find MSNBC or CNN. Just because most of the anchors on FOX News are annoying.

I quit watching their drivel years ago, and programmed that channel OFF my television set.
What astonishes me is how they have managed to hijack the huge percentage of the undereducated population by embracing the neocons. Sad, very sad.

Dunno. My question is, why does anyone watch the N.ational B.oard of C.ommunists, A.merican B.red C.ommunists, or C.ommittee of B.orn S.ocialists?
The've been lying/propagandizing since before most of us were born! At least FOX is relatively new at it!
