Coming from their belly, near the tail? That's poop. Don't worry about it. Just skim it out of the water when it breaks off or clean out the bowl every few days.

They are prob having a poo! That's what it looks like. It is a long brown/red string coming from underneath.

How red? Is it the color of their food? Look closely, is it really worms? If so, that's camillanus worms.

It is their feces, poop, doo doo, crap, that's how they go, if it's reddish in color it's probably just the type of food you're feeding them.
