Sorry,

The "nsl-school.org" virus is a brand new virus which is caught by clicking on a link sent in messenger which the infected page.

There is no cure as of yet, it is too new.

"This malware has the potential to infect any user of Internet Explorer who visits the infected Web site, but is specifically targeted at users of Yahoo! Instant Messenger. Users can protect themselves by not clicking on links sent to them by other users or contained in Yahoo! Messenger status messages of those contacts on their contact list. CURRENTLY, MOST COMMONLY USED ANTI-VIRUS PROGRAMS DO NOT PROVIDE PROTECTION FROM w32.KMeth."
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/061003/sftu121.html?.v=60

Another good reason that one should never click on a link that is sent in any Instant Messenger program.

I graduated from the internet with a PhD in pretend smartness. i've got self assurance i'm better than qualified for this. Avast! and AVG are the genuine 2 unfastened anti-virus classes. I desire avast (screensaver virus test is marvelous), yet i've got heard solid issues approximately AVG.

Try all this. If you have one, you have several.

This is more effective in safe mode (F8 during the boot, pick safe mode with networking)

Go to Start>Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and Uninstall what you can there. If they won't uninstall, you will get them later.

Do the free scan

Download AdAware and SpyBOT (available at http://download.com )
Install, update, scan and remove anything they find.

Update and run your virus scanner http://free.grissoft.com if you need one.

Defrag the drive, reboot in normal mode and rescan to make sure you got it all.
Download and install all Windows updates when you are done. (Internet Explorer > Tools > Windows Updates)

I am sure that at least one of these antivirus will be able to detect and combat it. BitDefender has the highest virus detection while AVG is the overall best(all are free):

1. AVG:

2. Avast:
http://files.avast.com/iavs4pro/setupeng.exe
3. Avira:

4. Clamwin:

5. BitDefender:

If its a spyware, SpyBot will detect it:

Use McAfee. You can download a 30-Day free trial version at this address http://download.mcafee.com/eval/evaluate...

When you've downloaded it perform a complete scan of your computer.
