We have had a few first ladies that were gay, the biggest being Elenor Rosevelt if you do a google search on her you will find out all about her relationship to the very BUTCH press secretary to the white house. she was involved with her for many years. Their love affair spanned until death.
As far as a President I have read in many places about Lincoln being on the fae side of the coin, thou right at this moment (sitting at a coffee house) I cannot remember where it is I read this.

There is a member of Parliament in New Zealand and that is the first transexual to be elected....Georgiana Beyer....Her book is "A Change for the Better" and is very good reading...She is very good about answering emails...
