She should have already been through the most painful part, which would have been the biopsy of her cervix. They have to actually cut little pieces off to run the tests.
The rest is just uncomfortable. Kind of like menstrual cramps.
The freezing is the treatment that will basically freeze off the warts (HPV). And she'll shed like she was on her period. She should be fine in a day or two. The HPV will most likely go away but she will have to go in for check ups a little more frequently.

It is an outpatient surgery. They knock you out to do it. The purpose is so that the cells to not develop further and possibly cause cervical cancer. The surgery itself is not painful, as you are asleep. For about a week after, she will have cramping, a bit more intense then menstrual cramping. This will sound strange as well, but she may have to take sits baths in "instant ocean" (a saltwater solvent used in fish tanks) if she has any outside areas that were hit by the laser to ease external pain.
HPV is very common. You have to carry the wart virus in your system to have it. Outbreaks can be caused by sickness, or a lowered immune system.

My niece had it done. The actual procedure doesn't hurt, it is numbed. She had some discomfort / pain after, but she is a crybaby and didn't fuss much so it wasn't too bad. What it does is remove cells that are not normal. Cancer is stage 5 and normal is 1. The cells that are not normal are removed, kind of like what the doctor does when a wart is frozen off your finger. It gets rid of the bad cells before they become cancer and spread.

First you should take a test just to make sure you are pregnant. I found out I was preg. 3 days before Valentines Day. I wrapped up the tests and put them in a valentines day gift bag and told him that I got him an early valentines day gift. At first he didnt want to open it b/c it was too early. I told him that he had to open it and that he needed to sit down while he opened it. When he opened it he was really surprised and happy and shocked. We were trying to get pregnant and even though we were trying it was still really shocking and real when it happened. Good luck.

the procedure isn't really her cervix being frozen its freezing the abnormal cells that are growing in her cervix. the point of the procedure is to prevent the spreading of those abnormal cells which is what leads to cervical cancer. she will be fine

having cryotherapy wont "tell" anything - it is treatment for the hpv related dysplasia. it is not so painful, but she should be prepared for weeks of yucky watery discharge from the cryotherapy (freezing)
