No but they can't play really load music. I think some don't play any music during Ramadan and if you are stumbling around drink you can get into trouble. Even taxi drivers may not put up with it. It is best not to go drinking during Ramadan just out of respect. If you have to then do it at your hotel or if you live there maybe just have some friends over or at least make sure you have a designated driver so no one has to see you drunk.

Not all clubs in Dubai close during ramadan. Those who open don't have live bands to watch but drinking is still allowed. By the way, you need a drinking buddy ?
