I did run away with a married woman when I was 17. We left Ohio in the middle of the night and went to my Grandma's house in Kentucky. Well, she wasn't real happy and called my Dad and I talked to him and he suggestion I get my butt back home. So we left Kentucky (Paintsville area) and decided to to on to Florida.
We got there (Daytona Beach area) and I got a job at Burger Chef (kinda McDonald's type place), She started there a week later. We eventually broke up; she went on her way and I ended up meeting my first wife there. We did all this traveling on 80 bucks. Shows you how inexpensive gas was at the time.
Will never forget how stupid I was back then (1970).

When I was 5 to the park is the only time I've run away. It was great.

Yes almost when i was young me and my friend was running away to florida .and another friend of ours stopped his van. asked where we was going he laughed and said your going the wrong way and took us home !
