Why do people always ask if it's normal for something? If you find it that you want a child and not a marriage then go for it. As long as you are financially stable and aware that this does change your life in many many ways. A lot of woman have children without marriage and they are doing just fine. Good luck and I wish you the best!

I say go for it if you know you can handle the responsibility of being a single parent. If you have someone in mind you can always be up front and share custody. If not, then there is always donor banks. There's no guarantee if you got married that you'd stay married or that other person would be a positive force in a child's life.

It might be acceptable in today's society but it is still very wrong. The child will be a bastard regardless of what society calls it. It is hard enough for a divorced woman to raise a child. A child needs two parents, a mother and a father.

I wanted a baby for a long time before I found my husband. It's hard to pay for a baby. If you do have one make sure that you can be finicaially stable. Just think its your responsiblity for the next 18 years. If you think you can do it and you are old enough and think you can give it love, then hell ya I'm all for it.
