I am saving to go travelling and want a second income to supplement my 9-5 wage.

Start by doing a few things which are pretty easy anyway:

-sort through all your old stuff and find items that is half decent that you don't want anymore.
-teach yourself about a bargain - what is good value for money and what is not? (you may already have an idea with this sort of thing.)

SET UP AN EBAY ACCOUNT.

You can sell your old stuff for a little bit of money, and what many people I know do is buy designer items that are going particularly cheap on ebay (or even if you find something at car boots and clean it up) and re-sell them for a great deal more.

The different between selling an item for a lot and a little is how you present it and the information you give. You can be selling items for anything up to and over 100%profit - and you bought them in the first place for not very much becuase the person who sold them to you didnt present the item very well. As long as everything you say is the truth and you dont try and sell an old item as a new one, then everything is fine!

This can easily be fitted in with a 9-5 job as it can take only a little bit of time in the evenings... it could even be a third job to some of the other suggestions here!

Get a second job like at a gas station or grocery store. Something easy that pays at least mim. wage were you can work as much overtime that you want; That's what I did when I saved money to go to Vegas.

I highly recommend that you check out mlm, direct sales, internet affiliate sales, as they cost little or nothing to operate, the network business works as hard as you do, and can keep on working for you while you are "on the job" 9.5 etc.

Just ask your friends if they can recommend a home business that is earning them income, or if any of their friends have a successful business.... this way you can assess the "real" income results by checking out "real" people, not fluff and nonsense promises etc.

Learn how to trade on the share market....its awesome....u can travel where ever u like for as long as u like so long as there is a computer in arms reach where eva u go, you can make money (and potentially alot of it).
