They weren't playing well with him, so I think they can possibly keep it together while he's out. Hasselbeck will have to make sure he quits throwing the ball to the other team though.

Don't stick a fork in them yet. Alexander will be back soon. Sure they had a lousy showing against Da Bears. But if you really look at it, Da Bears are the very best team in the NFL right now. They have the most dominating D going and the O is looking mighty good. Don't be surprised to see these two teams meet in the playoffs.
The Seahawks have discovered a new wrinkle to their offense in the form of 4-receiver sets. Put Alexander back in the mix to balance everything out, and that wll spell trouble for every other team they face. Morris had a lousy debut, but it was against Da Bears. Look for him to put up much better numbers against just about any other team until Alexander returns.

No. Without Shaun Alexander that cannot run effectively and this will shut down their passing game, especially the play action because the defense will not play 8 in the box allowing the passing lanes to open up. This was clearly evident against Chicago. No S.A. = no Super Bowl. They will still beat the weaker teams but anyone even close to elite will smash them to bits. Good luck!

Yes, they can keep the season afloat...but they cant be serious contenders.
There are enough bad teams in the NFL, and the Seahawks have enough talent to beat crappy teams but not good teams.

a large portion of the mission for SA this 12 months became the damaged wrist. It hindered his potential to proterct the ball and run devoid of having to 'imagine' about conserving the ball besides as protective his wrist. This meant he couldnt block besides as he used to in previous years. He also couldnt capture the ball comingout of the backfield. as a effect, his versatility became restricted and opposing communities might want to stack the line and play Shaun for the run. having Walter Jones (LT) injured in his left shoulder didnt help concerns both as his potential to fightoff D-lineman became hindered to some extent. once Seattle went to bigger of a bypass-orientated offense, the finest offensive scheme picked up and his numbers picked up a touch. Seattle became nonetheless bothered by skill of an O-line that had injuries (Jones), age (gray) and youngsters (Sims). Seattle extremely cant decrease Shaun this 12 months devoid of taking a tremendous income cap hit. and they cant commerce him becuase he signed a large settlement on the top of the 2005 12 months (proper after wining the scoring call, dashing call, League MVP and then going to the SuperBowl XL). i recognize that Seattle will maximum defintely be searching to augment their O-line by skill of the draft and loose-company. Alan Faneca includes recommendations from Pittsburgh.

Probably Not. That's why in the NFL or any league, there is NO guarantee. If you lose one good player, your 12-4 season will become 8-8.

No, you have to have a quality RB. Defense will just sit back and wait for Hasslebeck to throw them the ball. One dimensional offenses do two things, throw picks and punt.
