I enjoy sales, but I feel like I'm getting burned out and I need some stability being that I'm getting married and want a family one day. I don't want to hop from job to job nor do I want to get laid off which is common in sales. I just want to know what jobs salespeople typically get after they decide they don't want to do sales anymore.

Consider a buyer (since you know what sells) or recruiter position, HR for a larger company, these are long term careers with 9-5 hours and an office.

I work for a mortgage company and if sales isn't what you are interested in doing but you like the industry and have a lot of experience try to go for a management position. If that is out of your league go for a sales support position. For example, if we find that someone does not like sales but has a lot of experience in the mortgage industry we look for sales support such as title , closer, processor, underwriting. I hope this helps.

I worked in retail and quit to go work for a credit union. It was much better pay and you didn't need to have a degree to work there. Your sales will help when it comes to cross selling products to members but you won't feel the pressure
