I knew three people that went on the show once and their story was exaggerated for TV. There was a basic truth to the story but the fallout was fake. I suspect that for some people it is a rush to get on TV even if they seem to humiliate themselves.

I think they are just really bad "actors". Half the time they sound like people are feeding them lines. LOL! I think a show like that attracts people who are desperate for attention and don't mind acting like fools on TV. Everyone needs their 15 minutes of fame so they use Jerry as an outlet. I mean people can be crazy but the topics are too extreme to be real. "I'm sleeping with my sisters transexual girlfriend and I'm pregnant, a prostitute and cheating on both of them with a 90-year old midget" LOL! Entertaining to a certain extent but definitely not real.

It's fake. I have an actor friend who appeared twice on Springer as different people. I spoke with my friend about it- according to him, the show utilized real stories until the Jenny Jones incident (you can google it). After that, they started "scripting" out scenarios.
Actually, you can tell by watching that it's very poor acting.

It's real but they're encouraged to act out. It's really sickening isn't it? I've only watched it once in amazement with my jaw dropped open, then about 10 minutes into it, I wasn't even curius anymore. I wanted that trash out of my family room, so I changed the channel and have never watched another minute of it.
I wish they offered money to the guests on the show to be nutured or spade. They don't need to reproduce.

They have actors as well as a paid audience. The same person will stand up with their "question" for the "family" in 5 or 6 different shows. It's pretty lame.

the people on the springer show are real but before they tape they make it sound worse than what it is they act out what they are going to say and act out on how their impression on things are.
I think half of it is fake and the other half is true .

No, a friend of mine, her daughter books for several shows including Springer's. The deal is you come up with a crazy issue, then they fly you and your "group" in NY, put you up for 2 days and pay you $50.00 per day, to be nationally humiliated.
Not quite worth it in my opinion.

Unfortunately they are real. It is amazing that there are such idiots around and they are willing to show what fools they are on national tv.
