It certainly is one of the ONLY things they're good at! (Lying, back-stabbing [look at the Valerie Plame incident!], slander, libel, killing or disgracing those who disagree with them, pointing fingers, blaming everyone but themselves [the recent slurs against Clinton re: 9/11], xenophobia [hatred and fear of anyone with different views, appearance, religion, etc.] and pathological narrow-mindedness are just a FEW of the requirements to be a right-winger, esp. a neo-con).
However, I say that their biggest political weapon is using alliances based on money and power to steal from the American people, especially elections.

Foley's need to blame alcohol is ridiculous, but common. Think Mel Gibson. As for the Catholic Church it's got it's own problems and I don't think any Catholic will argue with that.
Hard right wingers are just as divisive as hard left wingers. That's why they place them so far away from each other on the graph.

It is a trait of both parties. The DNC uses a platform based on class warfare.
Foley's actions in blaming someone else spurs from his blood as a politician. Very few have the ability to accept the responsibilities of their own actions. They are living in DC in a vacuum brimming with self righteousness and inflated egos. The culture of DC needs to change.

No, divisiveness is the natural condition for most living things. In the living world, like comes from like. And it's normal for like to seek like for family and for community. It's called tribalism, and primates (like us) have an especially strong dose of it. But go ahead and whine, if it makes you feel better. You don't "know" nearly as much as you think you do.
Conservatism isn't a mental disorder. It's merely an error in judgment. When there isn't enough left of the best of the past to be worth the effort of conservation, the time is past to be a conservative, and the time has come to be a radical.

Oh come on. Stop making outrageous generalizations!
Divisiveness is a trait of all politicians and political parties. That is how they get people to be politically active.

No liberals expect to do what ever they want without a cost its insanity and extreme rude talk about dividing.
Especially with quotas race baiting and lying to people of color as you have telling them they can't do it.

So far he's blamed being alcoholic, being catholic, being gay, and being molested. Personally, I blame his being Republican. Let's see which one sticks.
