Is there a way to tell if someone is logged into my account because they have my password? What happens when both of us are logged on?

Specifically Yahoo email. I want to catch them, so I don't want to change my password yet. I believe I know who, so i am not worried yet. Seems that yahoo lets you log in at multiple sites at the same time.

Depends on what kinda email u have. Most of the time u can b logged in to several different places under the same email account. With messenger programs u cant do it.

The only way u would b able to tell is...

1. install a keylogger on ur computer (providing that its someone in your house)

2. take note to the lil things in email that lets u know its been checked. ex. normally new and unread mail is in bold print, old and read mail will b in normal print.

3. check ur emails trash can to see if any emails are in there that u never seen/read.

I don't think you can tell if someone has logged on, but if both of you try to log on at the same time it tells one of you that that ID and PASSWORD is in use by another user and it won't allow the next person log on.

If you are worried about someone logging into your email account, why don't you just change your password?

there is only one way to identify.. when you try to login in your acc it will not let you to login, if your acc is already logged in by another user, it will log that user out and it will log you in when you try to login again the second time.. also if the another user has modified your changes it could be identified that some one other than you is using your login.. Atleast change the your pass once in a week or fortnight.. that the only way.. use some sort of symbols as weell in your password, that will help your password to be strong.. :P

Listen to the other guy, but if you're worried about it, change your password so that you're the only one that has it, and the only one that could remember it. If you do paypal or whatever through your account, be careful, because they can hack that, and then start stealing your money or using you as a cover to steal money or items.
