My son stuck a wax strip onto my mirror and I cannot get it off!

Do not under any circumstances use soap or hot water. The instructions in the packet say you should use cotton wool and baby oil for your skin, try pouring baby oil on the mirror, and easing it off a bit at a time.

Get the wax warm (by using very hot water or a hairdryer), to almost the same consistancy as when you use it on your legs, and then scrape at it with your nail, or maybe a knife, but be careful you don't scratch the glass.

Cooking oil. You will have a greasy mirror afterwards but that will clean off. It will take some scouring though so use the rough side of a pan scourer. And add a little elbow grease!! Good luck!!

place the glass in the sink and pour very heat water into the glass. permit the warm water sit down in the vase until it melts the residual wax. If the water cools in the previous all of the wax melts pour out the water and repeat with extra warm water. Wash the vase with soapy water.

use baby oil, that is the best thing for removing any unwanted wax! Good luck!

Try rubbing it with methylated spirits. Great for getting sticky stuff off things.

If the hot method doesn't work try rubbing it with ice and scraping it off

"goo gone", I buy it at cost plus and dollar tree. I'm sure you can find it many places though. Very handy little cleaner. Its good for getting spots out of clothes too.

Acitone is in the nail polish section it can get anything off of anything pretty much.
