Blend in, no Hawaian shirts. No I'm an American attitudes so people should just......although accents do give you away most of the time.
People taking lots of pictures generally tell the locals you're a tourist or not necessarily from there.

There are some places that you cannot avoid looking like a tourist unless you actually live there. As someone else answered, there is nothing wrong with being a tourist, you're allowed to travel and enjoy yourself without getting all self-conscious about it. However, its best to not look like a stupid tourist that is an easy target. Be aware of your surroundings, don't carry a lot of cash, lose the fanny packs (they look ridiculous anyway), and don't wander around with expensive jewelry either. Also, don't walk around asking things like "does anybody speak English here?" Aside from that, have fun.

To not look like a tourist. Well you need to look bored like its just another day, hide your camera, make sure you have the right kind of money none from your home land, try to speak the lanugage.

what reasons are behind your question?
are you afraid of being ripped off? attacked? if so........
go to a tourist operator and book a tour......if not.....
ther's nothing wrong with being a tourist-lots of people like the idea of talking to and/or helping people from other countries
