yes, the messenger and e-mail is free, go to http://www.hotmail.com and sign up for an e-mail there, and then go to http://messenger.msn.com and download MSN messenger from there.

msn chat is not free u got to pay for the service but msn messenger is free ,all u got to do is download the software therefore msn live which is just the lastest version and u can go to home page of hotmail and u can create ur id there...all the best

WHY do you could enroll in hotmail once you're utilising the international's superb e mail provider,and bear in suggestions yahoo provides 1gb of storage yet hotmail has in basic terms 100mb!!! there is yet another decision if storage is your necessity the is rediffmail which offer loose countless storage!!!!!!!! candy huh.its very plenty known right here in India yet can not journey yahoo whilst it includes messenger.......

As far as I know everything is free except their ISP service and maybe some advanced mail options.
