I think if the Texans gave him an offensive line, he would be a great QB. He's #1 in QB rating in the NFL right now and has good WRs to work with. The Texans have problems in their running game, and the defense is downright horrible. To answer your question....I think he's on the way.

yes and no, he is putting up good numbers but most of them are due to being behind and having no running game. With that being said he is doing a good job now that he has some support. For the first time he has a legit no1 and no2 receiver, the best o-line he has had to date and a offensive minded coach. I wasn't a Carr fan but he is changing my mind this year. Go Texans!!!

The fact that they are always loosing means that they are in passing situations for most of the game....thats why Carr has great stats. He gets 200 passing yards in the late 3rd-4th quarter when the game is out of hand. He can put up numbers all day, but he doesnt have a defense to back him, nor can he put up points early in the game to keep his team in it.

eventually. if the WHOLE texans team didn't suck so bad then maybe he would be performing better. his stats are good and fantasy wise does put up decent numbers. but he can't be expected to turn turds into diamonds if the line and supporting cast don't help out.

It's hard to tell, Manning would look like sh*t playing behind that piece of crap o-line. It's tough to judge a QB that spends so much time on his back.

If the O-line could protect him longer then he can be one of the better QBs in the league.

We really won't know until Houston can put an Oline out there that can protect him. If he is constantly running for his life, he will not be able to show his talent.

yeah if you look at his stats he's been improving every year and he's one of the best rushing qb's only second to Vick but Vick is a ball hogg n David only runs when he has to.
