Does anyone know the rest of this? Something to the effect of "If you open it, close it...."?

If you get it out, put it away. There's a whole list of those type of common sense comments that apparently nobody else in this entire house seems to be aware of! I've spent the better part of the morning trying to tackle everyone else's 'should haves' (I know, it's the job of a mother/wife/adult/human - and I know I'm preaching to the choir here!!!) I just thought I might print out the list, if I could find it, so the rest of my family knows esactly WHAT they are supposed to do with that opened cereal box they just poured from now that they are done with it. (You know what I'd LIKE to tell them sometimes. And no, not leave it and walk away~ Mom will take care of it....) =)

I have seen this before - and loved it. And, I found it. I did a Google search for "If you open it, close it" and it came up first. I clicked on the html and the whole text popped up. Also, just another bit of advice - do a Google search for James Jones. He has created a program that makes everyone in the family more reponsible to help - and DO stop doing everything for them - you're teaching people every day how to treat you, and it's time to let them know that you're not the slave around the house. Everyone lives there together and they need to participate equally.
