clog up the roads going nowhere durinfg rush hour, decide to go for an incredibly slow amble around the shops between 12 and 2pm when we're on our lunch hour, should they be given asbo's or should I be more tolerant?

If I do reach retirement age I will either do my shopping outside working lunch hours or get a jet propelled zimmer frame to speed things up.

and for those who think I'm disrespectful, I always hold doors open for them and say please and thank you and humour them when they want to chat about nothing and get very little of that in return from them

they should also be punished for all the seats they take up in the town centre. If they want to spend the entire day sitting down they should just stay at home

They do it coz they have Freewill, just like U.
Have U considered that they mayB on their way 2 an appointment?
They may have other things 2 do that they can't do later, out of "rush-hour" in Town, clogging up the pavements!
It's not nice being old Or infirm.

UR doing ok, opening doors & please/thankUs, try 2 extend it just a lil more 2 cope with slow-coaches/pavement cloggers.
Deep breath & bit more patience.

Love the Avatar by the way.
Cool!
:)
What is it?

Once they turn 65, the automatically become members of the Anti-Destination League, whose sole purpose is to drive slow.

It also helps that they do not stay in their lane, drive in two lanes, leave the turn signal on for mile after mile, speed up when you try to pass them, blink left then turn right and to come to a dead stop on the freeway for no apparant reason

I don't know what you consider old, but I am 57 and retired. I drive the speed limit, no mater what time of day it is. I try to limit the amount of time I go shopping to the mornings, so i can get home and work on my 450HP classic Mustang.

u should be more tolerant but tell them excuse me if you are in a hurry and thank you when they do move over! think if you were old and you had someone on your case about going slow it would make you feel horrible they are human beings also and they deserve the right to go out whenever they want!

Try to be more tolerant of the old folks, as one day you will be one of them. As one gets older, the body does not work as it once did. The joints do not allow for fast mobility and cause us to slow down in our walking.

They are so few, it's nothing compaired to the millions of illegals on the road clogging up our space and slowing us down.
