Do NOT take this prescription medication unless you are the person it was prescribed for, and then take it exactly as prescribed. Are you trying to kill yourself? Elavil is dangerous in large quantities and can kill you. That would give new meaning to "not waking up". If you are considering suicide, please, call the suicide hot line for your city and talk to the great volunteers there. Killing yourself will NOT solve whatever you are trying to run away from, and it will leave a hurtful and devastating problem for the person or persons that find your body. Please do not try to hurt yourself. Death is always the permanent solution to a temporary problem, and you can't go back and undo it.
