ADDED--For Your Information, I am a Goldwater Conservative, retired USAF officer, retired newspaper editor (with national awards in both fields), two masters degrees and most of a Ph.D., and have been studying the Bush Regime with increasing alarm for the past ten months. I think I'll try to get some friends to join me at the demonstration being held at Barnes & Noble in Hickory, NC between 1:00pm and 6:30pm on Thursday, October 5. They have a target of 1000 people.

Okay, this needs to be cleared up. Are you marching with weapons? Because that's the only way you'll drive out the Bush regime. Whining has already been tried, and it's failed spectacularly on every occasion. The regime stands. I've got to make it blatantly clear that I am not prepared to take up arms against my own government. This current administration has brought shame to my country, but that does not mean the time has come for violence. I suppose then, I won't be attending your party either way.
I must also make it abundantly clear that one cannot fight lies with more lies. Bush has absolutely no intention of limiting his own powers by entering any such "tribunal". That's just babbling nonsense. Even were he to attempt such a thing, he lacks the diplomatic prowess to accomplish it.
America's support of Israel is not blind, and they have committed no such misdeeds. Again, the only way to expose a liar is with the truth. More lies will only make you look like another monster.

nah, i got better things to do, like my hair or something. also, i dont really like the smell of tear gas. Since I didnt vote for bush, i take no responsibility for him being there, and see no reason why i should bother ousting him. That is for those who feel betrayed by him to do.
