Drink lots of water. Cramps are usually caused by lack of oxygen to the muscles.

Yes put a hot pack or anything warm on your stomach. It will reduce the pain tremendously. Also try a midol or Tylenol if you got one. But the heat on your stomach will do wonders. If you have time lay in the bath. These things always help me and I have to worst periods ever. I hope you feel better sweet heart........... Why couldn't men be the ones to bleed once a month?????? Oh that right they couldn't handle it :)

I used to have terrible cramps, and bought those new Thermacare heat wraps, they have some you can strap on using velcro and you can't tell through your clothes, but they will heat for 8 hours and they help a lot!!! Plus a couple of ibuprofen/Advil

Sorry about your discomfort. I found that increased exercise, [even though at first it,s hard to get going,] helps a lot plus avoiding salt before your cycle and eating high fibre foods like whole grains and leafy green veggies really helps! Good luck!

A hot bath or heating pad always worked for me. Drink plenty of water, dehydration will only make it worse. Also try to avoid caffeine.

***PS: nicotine DOES NOT help with anything.

Rub your ankles. This tactic really works. Also try to keep your stomach cool. Drink plenty of water and exercise!

Take a pain killer. Leave school if you can and go take a warm bath. Tell a female teacher and see what she says.
