Stomach is bloated not due to fat accumulation. There is an uncomfortable feeling after meals and the stomach has a tight feeiling. Appears as though the colon needs to be cleansed.

try herbal peppermint tea before and after each meal. I have used this with great success.

Definitely try peppermint tea, and when the bloating wont go away and becomes painful I always lay flat on my stomach while my husband massages my back to healp relieve the gas. Just like you would do to a baby to make them burp. Same theory applies to adults, gas is trapped and needs to be realeased. Try it.

No such thing as a colon cleansing to cure anything. It's a bunch of crap (pun intended).
If you bloat after eating try slowing down while eating. You won't swallow so much air and it should help with overeating as the chemical signal that indicates to the brain your full will have time to register.
Other than any over the counter gas relief preparation containing simethicone will take care of the gas.

I used to get bloated after eating the smallest thing but since I started taking digestive enzymes, I feel great.

After you eat, go to a discrete location in the house (basement, e.g.) and rip off a few good farts. That should relieve the bloating. Please do not do it while still at the table with others present.
