You can check with your son's doctor because they will have a record of all the immunizations he has gotten. If he is 11 years old it is more than likely he has received it.

Most schools will do the immunization around that age. You can check with his school to see when they plan on doing it. But, I seem to recall that this immunization is part of the "booster shots" that children get before they are allowed to start school as a child. Check with your doctor as well to see when is the appropriate time for your son to get the shot again. Good luck!

You will want to check with any doctors he has ever seen and get a copy of his shot records. If he has not received the MMR shot yet, then yes he can still receive it.

I don't know why you wouldn't know if your child doesn't have his MMR immunization. I can only give you this advice. Check with his pediatrician, he/she will have all medical records pertaining to your son. Good luck and get him those shots ASAP.

Hi there.
It is never too late to get immunizations.
Or booster shots for that matter.
Check with your son's physician or the one he had when he was three years and under, and you will probably find that he had one if he was seen by a doctor when he was young.
If he is enrolled in school - atleast in America - childred must be up to date on all immunizations prior to being enrolled in public or private school.
So if he is, not to worry, he probably had it.
If not, like I said, it's never too late.
Good luck.

You can ask the doctor to immunize him, or you can ask the doctor to get a blood test to determine if your son has the immunities already.
