I think the Bengals rushed him back before his knee was 100% and he is a little scared to take that big hit.

if you have ever had your knee torn up before then you would know that it takes a little while to become comfortable with it again. As for the fumbling i guess he just doesn't have good pocket awareness to feel the guys coming for him.

Because he has no protection and has suffered a major knee injury. You can't blame him, blame the O-line. Pittsburgh and New England both were all over him. I think the Bungals are going back to their old ways, sure didn't take long.

Because of Pressure from the defense!! When there is pressure, The QB will do two things: he will probably get pick off or he rolls out the pocket and try to find someone down field!!

he may be a little tenitive due to the fact that his ankle was shattered last year and this is really the first few games on that reconstructed ankle, so we may be seing a little skiddishness on his part , I think overall he is less fumble prone than others have been ......I think he has some growing to do before he really feels super comfortable ........

Oh my god, a woman knows what a pocket in football is? Where do you live, I'll marry you now. lol.
As for your answer, it seems like he's worried about getting injured and he is not fully confident of the abilities of his linemen so he is getting scared and not thinking about protecting the football.

i think he's still recovering from his knee injury he suffered in the Playoff game last year..the Bengals should've let him get 100% before they let him play..he's not close to 100% yet!

it's not just him. his line has to protect him better. he was out quite awhile with his knee injury, and when he finds his groove again he'll be ok
