where are the diving spots in mystery dungeon red?

i only have 1 water pokemon a quagsire and i want 2 teach it dive
and i keep trying 2 catch seel so i can teach it dive instead of quagsire but no luck.

you don't use the move to dive in this game, like you did on maps of the main series games.

instead, dive only lets you go into water levels, and move down floors. you don't need to teach dive to anyone, you can just have it in your inventory, and it will have the same exact effect

i'm not sure about surf, i haven't even tried to get it, but i think that will bring your entire party over water surfaces.

both are useful moves, surf takes up a large area, and dive is a second turn move - which i've found second turn moves quite useful

i'm not sure, but i have befriend a magnemite and defeated skamory,and to tell you the truth, i thought it was going to be a great game,turns out i'm wrong, anyway i'm a bulbasaur and my partner is a pikachu both of us are at level 12
