He chose to drink and kept drinking until it got him into trouble. He now "claims" that he was molested. Boo-hoo.

None, and with every passing hour with its new revelation I have less. No one has ever remarked on his drinking either. No one has said"yes I remember the office party,( or dinner or luncheon), where he got stinking drunk". Just for the record, he has an interest in underage males, that is a special classification called homosexual pedophilia and has no more to do with ordinary homosexuals than it would with straights. Its the age not the sex that makes this so darned nasty. Saying he is gay is insulting to all those gay men who don't prey on children.

I don't. Just because you have been mistreated at one time in your life does not give you a license to mistreat others in the same way. A person should take their mishaps and use them for the good, to help prevent this happening to any one else or counseling others who has gone through the horrors you yourself had to suffer. As for the alcoholism excuse. That's exactly what it is. An excuse. Others have used it and it worked for them. This man has no other alternative. He deserves the same punishment as any one else in his predicament. He can get help for his alcoholic disease while doing time just like any one else would have to do!

Yeah, the republican do and that is exactly why you won't see this guy doing any time. He'll quit and get a slap on the wrist. Thus, continues the american cycle of corrupt politicians as a result of too much power.

If Mark Foley wants sympathy, he can find it between "sh*t" and "syphilis" in the dictionary. He won't find it here.
