Start by changing the environment that you are in. You are the only one that can make changes in your life don't wait for someone else to help you make decisions. Raise your standards of living. It will not be easy but start with small reachable goals and a positive attitude. Surround yourself with people who have positive attitudes and similar goals and interest in life and they can help you thru the tough times. Good Luck.

You understand the problems . . . now make a commitment to yourself to live a healthy life with people who have respect for each other . . . and stick to it. Limit contact with persons who refuse to correct addictive or destructive behaviors to phone calls. Terminate the phone calls when they become non-productive. Never let them reside with you as they have the ability to destroy themselves & anyone in their vicinity. You are too valuable to be wasted on self-centered sloths.
