i just installed it....its has a analog plug(in the back)..i hooked that up...there is a Digital out ...my question...can my DVD player pIay without this digital out hooked up???

If by analog you mean coax... and you've got that hooked up to your tv then you're good to go. The digital jack is probably just there to provide you with the option of S-video out or coax out. Either one will work.

For every digital output that u have u will also have a analog output. choose whichever one u want, but do one or the other. The digital output is most likely audio (orange). The analog audio is RCA jacks (red & white).

Yes, you can use either analog or digital...depending on what TV you have.

yes but you should have analog input tv if you haven't digital one.
